What is the event timeline (for instance, when can we begin setup and when must we conclude?)

Vendors may start setting up two hours before the event begins. All items must be cleared from the room within one hour after the end of the event.

Are there any noise limitations or curfews associated with events held here?

There are no indoor noise restrictions; however, amplified music is not allowed outdoors after 10 PM. This does not apply to indoor events.

Is it possible to host both the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes, we have multiple locations for the ceremony and reception to be held at our venue.

Are restrooms accessible for guests and the bridal party?

Yes, we have restroom lounges available for guests and the bridal party.

Are there any discounts or packages available for weekdays or during off-peak seasons?

Yes, our pricing varies based on the month and day of the week.

What is the cost to rent the venue, and what does that include?

There is no rental fee for the ballroom. We offer a variety of menus that can be customized to meet each client’s needs. Pricing depends on the selection of the menu. Our Catering Director will be able to help you determine pricing once you discuss your menu choices.

Is there a minimum number of guests or a spending requirement?

Yes, the minimums vary depending on the season and day of the week.

What is the maximum number of guests that can be accommodated at your venue?

Our ballroom can host between 150 to 500 guests. Our outdoor tented pavilion can accommodate up to 1,500 guests.

Do you offer in-house catering, or am I allowed to bring my own caterer?

We provide in-house catering; outside catering is permitted only if it is within three months of the event date.

Can I hire my own vendors (such as photographers, florists, DJs, etc), or do I need to use approved vendors?

We can provide a list of vendors we recommend, or you are welcome to use your own vendors. If you opt to use your own vendors, each vendor must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the Italian Center of Stamford as an additional insured party for that date.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated (such as vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher options)?

Yes, we can cater to special dietary needs if notified at least 10 days in advance.

Am I allowed to decorate the venue, and are there any specific limitations (e.g., use of candles, confetti, or hanging decorations?)

Guest are welcome to decorate and personalize the venue for their event! The only restrictions are the use of helium balloons, confetti, glitter, smoke machines of any type, and sparkles.

Are there any design or aesthetic guidelines I should know about (e.g., restrictions on altering walls or floors?)

Tape, thumbtacks, pushpins, or hanging clips are not permitted to be used on the walls.

Do you supply any furniture such as chairs, tables, linens, or a stage for the ceremony?

Chairs are provided for the ceremony.

Is the venue suitable for guests with disabilities?

Yes, Serafresca at the IC has elevators, and walkways for guests with disabilities.

Is parking available for guests?

Yes, complimentary parking is available for up to 500 guests.

Are transportation services or shuttles available for guests?

Transportation to and from local hotels can be arranged for an additional fee.

Can guests find accommodation at nearby hotels?

Yes, there are several hotels within close proximity to Serafresca at the IC.

What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of the event?

In the event of inclement weather, we provide the option to move to a future date based on availability.

Do you provide a sound system?

The DJ, entertainment or band will provide the sound system.

Does Serafresca at the IC provide staff to coordinate our event or is that up to our event planner?

A dedicated Maître d’ is assigned to work with our clients and/or their planner on the day of their event.

Do you have insurance for the event in case of unforeseen incidents?

Yes, Serafresca at the IC is fully insured.
