If you’re throwing a holiday party, chances are you went super festive on the decorating. But why not carry that over to your drinks? Creating unique, festive cocktails for your party is just another way to give your guests something to talk about! Celebrate the holidays the most fun way–with these festive cocktails:
The Red Rudolph
Pay homage to your favorite reindeer with this cranberry, orange and cinnamon concoction.
What you need:
- 1/2 ounce orange curacao
- 3/4 ounce cinnamon schnapps
- 1/2 ounce vodka
- 6 ounces cranberry juice
Directions: Heat the cranberry juice until it’s hot. Pour everything else into an Irish coffee mug and then slowly add the hot juice. This drink is best served warm and should be topped off with whipped cream sugar sprinkles on top.
Chocolate Peppermint Stick
The Chocolate Peppermint Stick cocktail tastes just like it’s name suggests. The combination of cool peppermint and sweet chocolate is both refreshing and delicious enough to be dessert.
What you need:
- 1 1/2 ounce white creme de cacao
- 1 ounce cream
- 1 ounce peppermint schnapps
Directions: Combine ingredients and shake well with ice. Strain ingredients into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a small peppermint candy cane or crushed candy mints on top, and serve!
The Santa Shot
Dress up your drink in traditional Christmas colors of red and green, and serve your guests these Santa Shot cocktails. The drink is made up of mint and berry flavors, which fares best when served as an aperitif.
What you need:
- 1 part grenadine syrup
- 1 part green creme de menthe
- 1 part peppermint schnapps
Directions: Pour grenadine to about 1/3 of your shot glass. Carefully layer equal parts of the creme de menthe, then the peppermint schnapps–and don’t worry if the schnapps and creme de menthe blend together! Garnish the drink with crushed candy cane pieces and enjoy the flavors of Christmas in a glass!
